“Art+” was an exhibit at the Artworks Gallery at James Madison University during the winter of 2018. The exhibit featured work from artists who were double majors (art majors and another major) and more specifically how their art reflected that aspect of there schooling. This project consisted of coming up with the name of the show as well as creating the branding and visual language for the show. My vision was to create bold imagery that exemplified each individual major but still felt cohesive. This imagery paired with the punchy, minimal type and vast negative space create a composition that has an open, creative, and energizing atmosphere.
